The significance of this site varies by campaign. For Easy Company, this location is the second time the marines face a zombie horde, and possibly where they are able to regroup with some marine survivors and civilians. In harder difficulties, the marine "survivors" can die before the marines make it there. Once they arrive, they proceed to download information regarding the outbreak. For Alpha Company, the importance of this site is minimal, and is generally not traversed by the entire group, except when scouting for items. Though sometimes the game may have the team go to Mine Site Epsilon to trigger the final boss, Perses. For the Apollo SecTeam, the team will most likely move through this area while attempting to shut off HAL's Mainframe
